Maybe, maybe not. If Southern can get it together, they'll be a harder team to beat. Just depends on which team shows up. It's basically last year's reserve team, but with one 1 senior. (Pape)

I suspect by tourney time Mr. Caldwell will have them doing much better.

But I'll be honest, I checked the score expecting them to have lost. :122248

River Valley had more turnovers something like 29 or 30 to Southern's 27 or 28 and Southern shot and made more free throws.

Since game one......RV has been turning the ball over and it has cost them several games this year.....

Another issue is RV giving up so many offensive rebounds......combine these two areas and RV is giving it's opponents 40-50 plus possessions a game....cant expect to win like that

Another thing I notice is the lack of scoring during inbounds plays...they just usually struggle to get it in

I wish Coach Hill and his staff and the players at RV the best of luck this year....

One thing ive noticed is the struggles the jv team has since being dismantled early in the year.....coach Golden would have easily had a winning season and the young players in the program would at least have confidence that they can win...I just think that it was a huge mistake breaking the jv team up....it had not helped the varsity win and i feel like winning at any level is sometimes better than a young player getting varsity experience....winning is an attitude....losing is contagous.....another thing that happens is young players that get moved to varsity too early feel like they have arrived and i notice sometimes these players stop working hard to improve their indivual game.....again these are just one mans opinions

Good luck the rest of the season Raiders......its not too late to turn this season around.....

DONT QUIT ON YOURSELVES OR YOUR FANS........WE STILL BELIEVE IN YOU GUYS!!!
