This will be an interesting match up. Howie went to Federal Hocking hoping to coach Sheets now he has to coach against him in the Sectional. Funny how things work out.

Sheets is from Fed? I did not know that. I am going with Meigs , the only place this is an upset is on the paper of those who havent seen Meigs play in the last few weeks.

lancers by about 10
the marauders have trouble scoring, howie will make it worse with his defense what i have seen from sheets he is the average good freshman high school player, not great. doubt howie went to fed hock just because he was dumb enough to think one kid was going to carry his team. not what he is about.

Simple math. Federal Hocking beat EAstern twice once by 28 second time by 1. Meigs just got beat by Eastern last night by 14. So I don't think the Mauraders have much of a chace

Meigs offense has really been struggling and I don't see them getting it going against a defense that plays as hard as Federal Hockings

If this is a Best of 7 series, I think FH wins in 4-5 games, but all it takes in the tournament is one off night. Meigs plays in the Ohio Division, which means they've had to play Athens, Vinton County, and Wellston twice, something the Lancers haven't had to do. Also, FH will be the clear favorites, which in the past hasn't helped this team as they tend to play tight in those situations. Meigs has a fairly athletic team that can slow down Federal Hocking's guards, and also contend with Carney on the glass. I think this game will be very close, but I do think the Lancers will find a way to win and advance to the Convo for the first time since 2007.

FH 53
Meigs 51

Didn't FH lose to a terrible Waterford team?

No pressure on Meigs....all on Oak Hill. Oak Hill is here about every year and Norm has about 600 more career wins.

Meigs just has nothing to lose.....will be dangerous IMO.

Dillon Boyer played a heck of a game tonight. He was the key. Also McKinney hit some big shots. Congrats boys. Everybody came to play tonight, but those two stood out for me.

BOYER, SHEETS AND MCKINNEY WERE ALL GOOD FOR MEIGS ... THE SPEED ON THE PERIMETER WAS THE DIFFERENCE, IMO.

I would say holding Carney to 2 points was a big difference along with Meigs out hustling them. Federal Hocking got beat down the floor several times giving Meigs wide open layups. This year if you have TVC teams involved in a game good luck trying to guess what will happen.
