I would like to thank Fairland HIgh School for there class act on the passing of my brother last night.
Chesapeakes Caleb Lindsey's dad was layed to rest Friday morning and Caleb played Friday night against Fairland and was Chesapeakes leading scorer. They had a moment of silence before the game and reserved a big section of seats (50) for Calebs family to watch him play last night.
Thanks to all who helped.

... "acts of kindness" - it seems that Southern/Southeast Ohio have this market cornered ... every single school in Southern Ohio has this "acts of kindness" mentality - it is awesome to hear, read about what happened at Fairland - class act indeed ... my condolences go out to the Lindsey family, the Chesapeake community ... to Caleb - your dad must have passed along great strength, character to you as you committed yourself to playing Friday night in such a big game vs Fairland AND you performed at your best, for team, for community, for school, for family, for yourself and I'm sure for your dad - you are a special person Caleb ...

I agree w/the Southern Ohio graciousness.
A year or 2 ago Southern had a moment of silence for a River Valley player or family member. Always impresses me when school's do this.
And also granting Wahama a schedule change due to their kids being involved in their state championship in football, and not being ready to play.
