This is one been waiting on right 93Dog! Should be an outstanding game. Both teams have lots of weapons and the usual advantage in length that each team usually enjoys will be a wash. The amazing "Fab 5" or as 93Dog refers to the "Pups" will be a load for the Warriors to handle. I believe defense and each teams ability to take care of the basketball will dictate this games outcome. Neither team is a "one man show" and have numerous players with the ability to not only score the basketball but make big plays on the defensive end of the floor. All makes for an exciting game and most diffinalty the place to be in Athens on Tuesday night.
Go Big Blue!

It will be intresting to see how Athens responds to a team that is actually bigger/taller than them ... they have held that advantage over pretty much every team they have played minus Wellston, who they lost to.

I didn't know there were any VW buses still drivable?
is it the same one you followed The Dead in?
I guess turning the Grateful Dead Teddy Bears, painted on the side, into purple hippos was probably an easy fix.
FYI - bring extra napkins. I'm thinking with the offensive fire power both teams possess - it could be higher scoring than some anticipate.

with Warren coming into McAfee Gymnasium with 6'5 Michael Hall, 6'3 Reece patton, 6'3 Evan French, 6'2 Dylan Leffingwell and 6'3 Adam Lang ... not having forward Ryan Leuhrman on the court Tuesday is gonna make it tough for Athens ... He hasn't played in two weeks - and I'm not sure if he will be able to go or not - but it sure would be nice to see him out their. All the games I have watched Warren play in, they seem to feast on the zone defense like a fat guy does on Thanksgiving ... can or will the Bulldogs try and man-up on a team that owns a distinct height advantage at almost every position will be intresting.

When Warren goes big, Hall at the point with French, Patton, Leftingwell and Lang rounding out the unit, they create matchup problems all over the court. Although Hall is learning on the job playing point, the rest of the teams ability to handle the ball gives Warren with their offense the ability to take advantage when mismatches occur. This unit gives the Warriors 5 good shooters to go along with the size. Leftingwell has been a beast this season providing leadership and a physical interior presence. Lang probably the best defender on the team, with his length at 6'3" can guard most any position. That being said Athens is talented, long and athletic so taking care of the basketball will be an important key in winning this game.
This one will be decided late!

a lot of the non-league games Athens has played have been triple headers - but I honestly have no idea if tonight is.
