I want to start by saying I think Caldwell and Frontier should get benefit of doubt PVc alot tougher then RvC.Frontier already stomped Beallsville and Bridgeport and beat Barnesville in preview. Union Local sectional - 1. River 7-3 2.Shadyside 5-5 3.Beallsville 5-4 4.Barnesville 4-6 5. Caldwell 2-7 6.Frontier 2-8 7.Bridgeport 2-6 8.Rosecrans 1-9 9.Bellaire St John 3-7

Other Sectional is alot better. 1.Stuebenville Central 9-1 2.Hiland 9-3 3.Malvern 9-3 4.Con Valley 9-3 5.Tusky Central 6-6 6.Toronto 4-5 7.Strasburg 1-10 8. East Richland winless. Records could be off maxpreps.com

District predictions as of 1/10 Hiland vs River and Steubenville vs Caldwell

Would love to see Caldwell make it to the District tournament! It would be the first time since 2003-2004 season when Shaw, Chandler, Kress, and Clark were all seniors. If they land on the right side of the sectional (which they should) it could be very possible. They've been in the Sectional finals the past 2 years and this could be the year they win it and advance. Only thing is Weichman has to stay out of foul trouble. Can't afford to lose him if they want to advance.

It will be worse next year after River loses all their seniors. Haha. Caldwell might just get the 1 seed next year

Yea Frontier has some good young players 2.

if u check the ohsaa web site for the eastern dist. d4 tour. this year.there will no dist semi's this year it will be a three game sec. tour. to get out to the dist. final, and a one game dist.final. records for the teams at new phila as of jan.12 games. hiland 10-2,malvern 10-3,steubenville cath.11-2,conotton valley 9-4,tusky cath.6-7, caldwell 2-7,toronto ?,strasburg 1-9 east richland chr. is not in the ohsaa tour. this year

Caldwell got screwed having to go to New Philly instead of Union Local. River is a lock for district final
