Honestly not a very strong sectional when you compare it to Jackson or Waverly. when was the last time a team from this sectional advanced past the first round of the District?

I believe this sectional actually use to be down at Jackson - and Chesapeake was a member ... so I'm guessing sometime around their was the last time.

Zane Trace has tough games before the tourney draw.
at Circleville, Eastern Pike, Wellston, at Piketon, Vinton County

I dont feel that ZT should be penalized if they lose a couple of games to D2 schools down the stretch...some of the other schools in the sectional play D4 opponents weekly...

The problem is there are 6 TVC schools in this section and with River Valley soon to be you might as well say 7. From the stories you hear about school sticking together in the draw it might be hard for them to be voted a head of Nelsonville or Federal Hocking if they have more losses.

Lake Channel and Crooksville is a sleeper in this sectional.They play in a bigger D2 league and have some nice wins. I'd take them in upset at Athens over FH or Nelsonville but not ZT.

Nelsonville-York just beat Crooksville ... in Crooksville ... last night.

What was score?

Nelsonville-York - 58
Crooksville - 52

I know a lot of teams in the Jackson Sectional that would love to be in this one instead .. Wow just wow is all I can say .. No wonder the first round games at the Convo end up being snoozers .. Time for a super sectional folks ...

It happen in this same sectional last spring in the sport of baseball.
Zane Trace was 14-5 at the draw and the TVC coaches decided to give a 12-7 TVC school the #2 seed over them.

I don't think the 1-seed even has to worry about Crooksville ... the way Belpre is playing Crooksville could very well end up 6th and take on the 3-seed ... Meigs still has to play Athens, Fairland and Vinton County before the draw... even Wellston still has to play Athens, Nelsonville-York and Zane Trace.
