The Last five years has been a great match up. Piketon leads 7-2 so far into the fifth season, but all of the games were pretty close, even the "Gold Ball" year. A couple of games won in OT and last year Andrew Warner's shot at the buzzer help the Shermans share the Title with the Streaks. I expect another exciting game. Gotta get my seat early. Get there very early if you want a seat, this will likely be another sellout as Unioto only holds about 1700 with standing room.
Unioto hasn't protected home court this year like they have in the past, but I look for the students to be out in full force and it to be a great atmosphere and I should add that it's Hall of Fame night which will feature the 90-91 State Runner Up.

I like Piketon by 5 in this one . They are hungry for some revenge from their earlier loss in the year to the Sherman's ...

I think this will be a game that's nip and tuck from start to finish. Piketon has to control the paint on both ends . And I think they will Piketon 58 Unioto 56 . Foul shots decide this one.

Unioto won the battle of the boards 45-35 the first game, but Zach Farmer's presence will help the Streaks a lot there.
Unioto's underclassmen carried them to first win, with Erique Hosley's double double and the sophomores all having big games. If Chase Dettillion can keep rebounding like a madman (15 rebs a game over the last 6 games) then I like the Shermans at home. I'm very biased of course, but this should be a great atmosphere and game like it usually is between these two.

The Chef will be there rooting on The Streaks. The Chef will go with The Streaks in a close one all the way. The Streaks will have to be hitting on all cylinders like they have been as Frenchtown will be ready for this battle with fans in full throat in costume. Should be a fun one and good luck to all.
Here Comes the Streaks!

Yes sir! 2 great high school basketball players in their day and now 2 great high school basketball coaches!
3 other individual athletes will be inducted: Clifton Brown (soccer) John Hutton (track, football) Brandon Wilson (golf) and a past principal whose name is escaping me at this time, but he was helped bring the district tournament to Unioto between 75-84.

Any word on the status of the game? I really hope they play, I've been looking forward to this game since the last time they played each other. Hopefully the Farmer kid will be playing this time around. :aaaaa14

Nothing yet, but I think they will do what they can to get it played, as long as its safe. With it being Hall of Fame night, I think that could make it more likely for them to play.
