Dakota Garret from Western, Kevin Lewis and Mader from NDame are deserving as well as Bias from East, but I think only conference champ gets 2 on the 1st team.

I beleave league champ gets 3-4 second gets 2-3 last year Eastern and Notre Dame got 3 each but split the league. Last year I think it was Lands ,Pickett,Satterfield and Notre Dame had Noel,Pieron and Kayser .

If thats the case i would say Lands,Pickett,Lightle from Eastern and Kayser,Lewis and Mader from NDame all make it. I was thinking they only took 5 for some reason.Craiger definitely on it too

I just looked on posts from last year and since there was a tie they each got 3 . But if there no tie ithink it goes 4 for fist 2 for second and 1 for the rest up to a total of 13 first team and 10 second team. But that was last year

Conf champ get's 5 players total on 1st and 2nd team. In most cases I can remember it goes 3 on 1st team and 2 on 2nd team. Obviously if you have co champs or a tri champ that makes things complicated and this rule goes out the window

Let's be real for a minute....

Per the Ironton Tribune, Western had 22 field goals in the game Friday. Shanks had 4 himself. Per this outlandish statement, Shanks assisted or scored all but 1 shot in the game. I call shenanigans.

There is no question Nick Shanks (sophmore) is a first team player only question is who his coach nominates. Nick and the Thacker kid at Eastern are the 2 most compleat players for any age group let alone they are only sophmores. Both score,pass,rebound and play great defense. They are the future of the SOC1

Hey Elizabeth I think he is! Dont call me a liar. It seems your name always comes up to challenge someone. The Shanks kid has had two on the season, and is close in all three categories.

Seems to me Mr. Sanford is not familiar with Pike County basketball. Nick Shanks is an excellent young player. I'm don't see every Indians game to know about this triple double talk, but he is the engine and does it all for Western. He has a few things with his game that need polished but he's only a soph and I've heard he's the type of kid that busts his butt in the summer. Next year he's a no question lock on 1st team
