The Vikings are comming off a major win over Athens and need to keep that momentum up for this game if they want to keep the TVC champ title....it aint over yet, boys.

Vikes are home and there will be a great crowd!! Keep up the intensity and great defense!! Stay focused and continue to play the ball you have displayed recently. VC is playing great team basketball heading into the tournament. They have a starting 5 and 4 or 5 others that have an impact on the game!!

... wishing the Vikings of Coach Combs the best as they go into the last weekend of regular season action ... playing excellent basketball right now at both ends of the floor, getting BIG TIME minutes from the "youngsters" just in time for finishing the season and heading into the "survive and advance" season ...

Can't remember the score of the freshmen game, but VC won by 20 or so. JV contest has been awesome as this has been ago of game on both sides. VC up 44-39 with 5:00 to at. House is packed and it feels like a sauna up in here. Gonna be a great night for ball!!!

36-33 VC at the half. Clean game, refs calling it real tight. I think Jordan Kidd for VC only has 2 points in the first half. A lot of other vikes stepping up tonight.

Jordan Kidd has 5 at the half. Wellston has Dakota Brown guarding him tonight.

VC came out and have out scored Wellston 17-4 in the 3 rd quarter. up 53-37 with 1:04 left

Vikings continue to play with 10 plus players a night. Think this is going to help come tournament time. Young players getting some varsity experience against good teams. Nelsonville on Monday night in a makeup game for the outright TVC Ohio title!!! Great game on Senior Night for Matt Smallwood tonight. Best game of his senior season!!!

Does Vinton County have a radio station that carries their games? I listened to them play Athens the other night, but that was on an Athens station.

While listening to the Bulldogs game tonite the broadcasters mentioned a VC/ Nelsonville game Monday night, but I did not her where the game was being played, or if it would be on the radio.

VC/NY is at VC Monday night. Makeup game from a couple of weeks ago. 98.7 or 97.7 (?) carries VC games occasionally.
