Well Athens loses 4 of its 5 starters, still the team to beat in the TVC with Lutz and Saltzman. Alexander will have a very good freshman next year that will start and be their best player

Washington County: Warren
They have a lot of talent coming up to the varsity level. Should be the team to beat for the next few years in our county.
Fort Frye is always tough and Marietta will be good in the next few years as Coach Duckworth gets his development plans in place.

Alexander loses one player, Jordan Mosley, and that's it. Plus, they will have Lukas Thompson back.
They are my preseason pick in the Ohio Division. And they are in Athens County.

The Portsmouth Trojans in 2015-2016 will return 3 starters (Kyre Allison, Kendall Reynolds, and Ethan Leonard) and 2 of the first 3 off the bench (Cole Lowery and Luke Purdy).
Valley returns most of its roster, including Brian Rolfe, Bryce Romanello, and Blake Howard.
Minford returns Brandon Rowe, Brian Alley, and Trey Kelly.
I noticed in the Waverly sectional program that Zane Trace and Adena only lose 1 or 2 seniors at the most.

CHillicothe may provide some good hoops in Ross but Paint valley maybe a team to watch if they Can Get some shooters to head their way to compliment their 6'9" center. No really significant programs to speak of in highland county Greenfield looking for a coach Hillsboro will struggling they never have learned team ball, Lynchburg lost a key player and Fairfield will be down for 5 or more years. Peebles out of Adams County will struggle with the exit of the Justice kid but havent or will never admit it. Portsmouth should a power next year.

Peebles will still be the best team in Adams County next year. West Union loses most of their varsity roster and Manchester/NA will still be down for the next couple seasons.

It's Bryan Rolfe for Valley and Jared Alley for Minford.

I think very highly of their coaching staff, but they lose 4 of their top 6, including 2 1,000 pt scorers. Their JV also went winless in league play and the varsity only plays 6. Not a lot of help for Swingle and McFadden, hopefully I'm wrong though.

Gotta agree with 93dog. Spartans lose one senior ... I'll take Alex as the favorite
In the Ohio next year.

Paint Valley will pull some upsets, and Swingle will be a handful, but I see Adena, Zane Trace, and Unioto finishing higher. Unioto loses a lot, but they have several talented, athletic players returning. ZT finished in second place in the league, only lose one senior, and have some nice younger players. Adena returns a lot of talent, but needs to establish some chemistry.
PV loses two 1000 pt scorers. That's tough to replace, regardless of the big guy's improvement.

I don't have rosters for Eastern, Piketon and Western but Waverly only loses 1 player to graduation (Dakota Garrett).
They return 3 seniors to be, starting point guard Jake Henderson, twin Joe Henderson (6th man since recovering from his broken wrist) and starting Center Mason Chapman. Also coming in as a senior will be Derek Fout who could contribute.
Two sophomore starters Cade Marquez and Trey Rigsby return for their Junior season. Also coming in as Juniors will be Tariq Gilbert (who has come on strong of late) and Drew Harris. 4 Freshman look to compete for time as sophomores: Clayton Howell, Ethan Adrian, Bailey Pennington and Gunner Robinson. Who knows what will happen between now and next basketball season but with those guys returning Waverly could be looking at a very nice year. They have the making to be a very good and deep team.
