2/3 Valley @ Unioto
2/3 Valley @ Unioto
Valley has had their number the last couple of years but Unioto is having a great season being undefeated at this point and Valley has dropped 3 so far.
Any thoughts..?

Re: 2/3 Valley @ Unioto
This will be a good midweek test for the Shermans. They haven't had a game within 11 points, so I'd personally like to see them get pushed for 4 quarters on Tuesday by the talented Indians.
I think the Shermans win, but it will be nip and tuck.

This will be a tough game for the Indians, but a good test against a quality opponent headed towards the draw. If the Indians get this win, I think they solidify a case for #1 seed.
Good Luck!

What makes Unioto so tough is a combination of things- super athletic, can really shoot the 3, height, speed, quickness, 9-10 players deep, and 5+ guys who can score in bunches.

Re: 2/3 Valley @ Unioto
Unioto has been very impressive........could very well be the best team in the SE district, regardless of class. They do indeed have all the ingredients to make a long tourney run, possibly to Columbus. One of the stats that stands out about the Shermans is their margin of victory.......they really haven't had a close game yet. It would probably do them some good to get tested before the postseason begins. Valley is very athletic, but not as deep as Unioto. The Indians will have to closely guard the perimeter game of the Shermans.

Unioto by 15-ish they are simply best in class in SE Ohio right now...similar to Athens in football or Wheelersburg in baseball this past year.
Should make some noise come play-off time.

Unioto by 20 at home. They play team ball and have the talent to be undefeated going into the tournament. Valley would have a shot at home but not on the road.

26-26 at the half. Valley's physicality is giving the Shermans some problems.

Wow, guess I got this one wrong. Thought the Shermans would have their way, great game by Valley so far. Sounds like a barnburner through 2 quarters.danicalifornia wrote:26-26 at the half. Valley's physicality is giving the Shermans some problems.

Unioto 53
Valley 44
After 3. Unioto able to speed the game up and freshman Logan Swackhammer hits 2 3s and has a big assist to finish the 3rd for the Shermans.
