River Valley @ Alexander.....1-9-15

Any thoughts?........should be a good barometer for both teams........good luck to all the players and coaches for both teams.....Alexander assist coach Hill, former head RV coach could be the difference........he knows both teams......looking forward to the game

Yes he is the difference in that rv has actually been able to move out of the stone ages and play offense and win a few games instead of passing the ball around in a circle until they turn it over like when hill was there.

I think the score was actually Alex 53 RV 33. Alexander is glad to have coach Hill. Our defense is one of the best in SEO.

This score doesn't surprise me at all. I figured it would be around 20. I'm sure the people at Alexander are tickled to have coach hill. Looks like rv has really moved out of the stone ages with there offense. 33 points is really lighting it up. I heard on the radio rv only scored 2 points in the 4th quarter.

17-2 was the 4th quarter score.......36-31 after 3 quarters.......RV bounced back at SG Sat. to win the first ever meeting between the two teams......As for coach Hill, he is a seasoned coach with all the professional qualities it takes to have longevity in the coaching game......Alex is very deep.......RV will get better and be much more prepared.......
Not to take away from what Alex did, they were the better team.....hands down.........but RV was playing its first game since 12-23 at SE........they looked much better in the great environment that the people in Vegas Sat night....

Thanks, We are very proud of the young men that represent the Alexander Spartans Basketball program. They carry themselves with class.
