Curious to see how the Clay vs East game turns out as this is the game of the night in Soc 1. Saw the Panthers play Tuesday and they are very quick and can shoot the 3. For East,Akia Brown will have to play very well for as Clay will put pressure on the guards. I think it will come down to the wire with Clay pulling out the win 65-60.

Are they working on the downtown gym in Waverly? If so why don't the play at the high school? The do have it and most teams play at their school anyhow?

Yeah, never quite understood that one!!! LOL. They probably have one of the nicest new gyms in the Area but only use it for Volleyball and girls basketball. I get the nostalgia and all that BS about the downtown gym, but surprised with budgets of schools Waverly isn't forced into just playing at the high school (Which would be an upgrade in my opinion to the downtown gym). I am sure it takes a lot of dollars to heat and light both places.

Waverly just thinks their special and above all other schools to have another gym floor to play on, lol
Never made sense to me why they can't just use the high school gym.

really surprised the girls haven't complained that they don't get to play downtown.

Peebles/Eastern Brown Updates:

Peebles freshmen win
Peebles JV wins 48-42
Peebles Varsity up 14-12 after 1.
Varsity game is tied at the half. Marcus Day(13pts) and Beau(17pts) are going at each other in this one. Eastern doing a good job of keeping composure against the Peebles press. Warriors hitting shots to keep this a tight contest. Peebles needs to have more from Ireton, Arrasmith, and Schmitz in the second half.
Peebles Varsity up 57-36 after 3. Beau, Tanner Arey, and Arrasmith making it rain in the second half.
Peebles wins. Beau Justice with his second 40pt outing(42) in 5 games. Tanner Arey(12pts), Arrasmith(12pts), and Cameron Gordley all impressed in this one. This may be a little early but I am predicting Gordley will develop into the best player in the SHAC next season and Arey won't be far behind. I was impressed by the fight Eastern showed in the first half.
