… I understand through the grapevine that a set of freshmen twins with much promise took their games on the road to Oak HIll instead of taking the hardwood for the Ironmen ???

Numbers look to be up but majority are freshman I believe.

Wins will be tough to come by but it won't be too far down the road before Jackson is more than competitive.

8th grade down thru 5th grade has a good bit of talent and very few of those kids are football first and are likely to keep playing basketball AT Jackson.

Time will tell. Losing the twins probably set us back 2 years from being very competitive. I wish the Carroll boys well, but I believe Jackson will put some solid teams together for a pretty good run of years.

I would like to see them get things turned around but I am afraid it's going to be another long year.

Probably Stormin' Norman, who was coach at Chesapeake for a number of years, but, for the life of me, I can't come up with his last name. The older I get the more trouble I have with people's names. Wonder why that is?

Westfall will finish last in the SVC this year. Not looking good for Jackson if they lost to Westfall

After a brutal first half schedule the Ironmen are now playing their best ball in 3 years. They have won 3 out of 4 games and this week they had a triple header sweep (freshman, JV and varsity) in back to back games.

JV and freshman now over .500 and jr high is strong.

Good to watch the kids play so hard and together. The freshman group is very cohesive and the seniors are seeing results finally from sticking with it and playing hard.

Good win for the kids last night and program overall. The faucet has been turned off for a while with respect to wins, now there is some drips and before long should be a pretty steady stream of "W's" as program keeps progressing.

Hats off to the seniors for staying with it last couple years despite what they knew would be tough circumstances. Shows a lot of character and pride in the school.

Congrats on the win and practice the charity stripe shot lol, that was a close win last night. It was good drama though lol.
