Thoughts?

Don't see how Waverly makes a game out if this. It's tourney time and anything is possible but I see VC winning by 15-20.

This should be a really fast game with a lot of shots taken. I think it should be a really fun game to watch.

VC primed for a regionals run.

Haven't seen Waverly play this year. People last night said they are very comparable to the Marietta team we played last night. If so, I'll take the Vikings in this one. Love watching ball at the Convo. Good luck, quality teams and some great games ahead.

VC is good, but have played a pretty weak schedule. Lost to the two quality teams they faced.

Lost to Alexander by 2 points when Alexander shot almost 70 percent for the game and lost to Miami Trace on the road by 7. Weak schedule? Beat Athens twice, Logan twice, Piketon, Chillicothe, southeastern and numerous others by a lot of points. Go ahead and let your team think they are weak. We don't know much about your team. I guess we will find out next Saturday. I was asking for comparisons and if these teams match up well.

IMO this is the most lopsided D II game at the Convo. I'd be surprised if VC's starters see more than 2-3 mins in the 4th quarter. As I said in a different thread .... I feel Waverly fans are mistaking a good game vs Gallia will translate to a "w" against VC. Gallia and VC are light years apart when it comes to talent.

Waverly fans aren't mistaking anything. We know VC will be the best team we have faced all year and they are much better than Gallia. I haven't seen anyone say anything about the impressive win over Gallia translating into a W over VC.
All we can hope for us they play as well as they did against Gallia.

Good points. Why even bother to finish the tourney. Might as well ship the state title to VCHS!

Nobody said anything close to that. When you criticize a school on a thread, expect the fans to let you know how they feel. Nobody on this thread has said anything negative about Waverly. If you wanted to put something in this thread, post some info. Starting lineup, any common opponents or positives you see in your team.

The common opponents are Piketon and Jackson

Your lopsided opinion is based on what? Have you seen the Tigers play?

How did they do against Piketon and Jackson??

Won them both Piketon by 12 and Jackson by 1

Should be a great game. You have a starting line up for them?

VC wins this game, but I don't expect a blowout.
