Any word on cancellations for tonight two D4 district semis. Wouldn't mind making a trip tonight.

Around Scioto County we received more snow than ice, which could be a positive since they can clear snow much quicker than ice. It will be interesting to see what they decide.

We got a lot of snow here in Athens over night ... the good news is - it appears it's all done ... now, it's just a matter of how fast they can clear the roads... usually the sun and temps help, but I don't think that will be the case today, it's freezing outside.

I read somewhere that a decision was supposed to be made at 10. Fingers crossed that its good news and they playem tonight.

I just got notice that there will be no games played at the convo tonight do to weather conditions.And this came from someone that knows someone.

It's been postponed. No new date yet.

Chillicothe Gazette is reporting on their twitter page that the games are postponed.

Simple solution is to play the south Webster game at 4 on Thursday and the Ironton St. Joseph game Friday at four.

I don't see any way possible that tonight's cancelled D4 semis will be able to be rescheduled at the Convo. My bet is the games tonight are moved to Jackson or Waverly for Wednesday night (Jackson has girls games on Thursday), and then the D4 Finals are moved to Saturday at the Convo, with the D3 district championships moved to Sunday at the Convo.

Easy aces. i have to work fri till 4ish. but if thats what they need to do to keep them at the convo then i will make it very 4 ish!!! GO FLYERS!!!

Not playing at the convo is absolute hogwash. You get bigger crowds for each day's set, which mean$ more money for the $tate. No brainer, win-win for all involved.

These young men play five or six games some weekends on aau outings. They and their coaches could care less on back to back prospects, that's a cod lock.

pocket aces: I hope I'm wrong, but that's my prediction. These kids all deserve to play at the Convo, but it is booked solid next 2 weeks. Things will get even messier if tomorrow night's D4 games are cancelled. But these games have to get played quick b/c Regional games are set next week starting with D4 on Tuesday (3/11), so my prediction is Waverly or Jackson will be getting the D4 District semi games. Again, as a Webster fan, I hope I'm wrong.*

Could do:
D4 semis Tuesday/Thursday
D3 semis Friday/Saturday
D2 final Saturday
D3/D4 finals - Sunday

Obviously that depends on Convo availability.

They're not gonna reschedule the D3's after already doing that yesterday. Tuesday's games won't be postponed. The D4 teams deserve to be at the Convo, the Thursday/Friday solution is easily done....the only con being the aforementioned short comeback for one team, but I can promise that all involved would happily make that trade off in order to assure playing at the Convo.

Yes, but that's before more games were lost today. How do you fit them in if you want them at the Convo? I don't see a 4 p.m. game being an option, as someone suggested above.
