Garaway beats St C 50-49 double OT

Fort Frye Starters- Seth Legraen 6-4 Jr (17.4) , Chan Lang 5-9 Sr (11.3), Carter Kiefer 6-2 So (9.2), Jordan Anderson 5-8 Sr (5.2) , Logan Madison 6-4 Jr (4.4) Bench Justin Anderson 6-2 Fr (8.9)

Garaway starts 2 freshman and 1 sophomore. Come in at (14-10) leading scorers are 5-10 So Sammy Gebhardt (11.5), 6-0 Jr Josh Werker (9.5).

FF seems to have got things back on track lately, but Garaway is going to be a tough matchup. They are young, but are big enough to give FF matchup problems and play hard on defense much like FF does.

Should be a great game.

Fort Frye only beat St C by 1 but they played awful

If FF goes in thinking they will roll, they will get beat. Coach Shutt is as good as there is and this team has played better teams than FF this year. This will be a low scoring slugfest, much like. St C/Garaway was, and like St. C / FF was.

This is not one of Garaways better teams

Understood. But this is a perennially great program with a great coach and young players that now have 24 game player this year. I just don't get the talk that this will be lopsided.

Judging by the fact that IVC teams such as Hiland and Malvern just rolled Caldwell and Frontier this could be a dangerous game for the Cadets. I say it's a 5 point game either way.

Good luck to Fort Frye in this one - survive and advance is the name of the game , no style points just "get'r done" ...

Garaway did beat Cambridge who just reached D2 district final.

after what garaway did to st.c ,the pirates r on a roll, they will be tough out.there very very good at playing defense,they gave my hawks all they could handle in both games,but hiland and garaway r big time rivals and u can through the records out the window when these two play each other. but back to the fort frye vs garaway this one will go down to wire,i see the fort maybe pulling a close one out.

Fort Frye also beat St C by 1 but the Cadets played awful in that one. Doubt that effort can win 2mrw. Cadets have already played at oue beating Steubenville Cath for ovac title but Cadetd struggled with outside shots in that one.

It seems like any time chandler gets I foul trouble they fall apart with out him

I agree Chandler is huge part of the team and most important he is a 1st team all district guy but they are 21-3 and he has been in foul trouble more then a few times.

Fort Frye wins 52-48 IMO. It will be a tough great defensive matchup.
