I usually do one of these every year. Here is a look at what to expect come Friday when the 2014 district tournament begins with the DII teams taking center stage.

I believe every photo on the page are players you will see over the next few weeks. The schedule, which will be updated with scores, is also updated.

Feel free to discuss anything, post scores, etc ... etc ...

On one of your pictures on the right hand side is a Warrem Warrior #24. His name is Colin Welch, not Evan French. No biggie.....just sayin. Very nice work on the web page tho. I will follow it nightly. You do a great job:)

Anyone have information as to whether games at the Convo will be broadcast on radio or internet? Thanks..

Each game will probably have its own separate broadcast depending on which team is playing. There is no such radio/internet that will cover ALL the games. It would be way to expensive (the OHSAA charges stations to broadcast tournament games.)

Trimble vs Peebles will be on 970WATH or 970wath.com ... That's the only game I can say for certain will be on air cause we are doing it.

The 3 games Sunday which involve the Scioto County teams will all be on 99.3 and you should be able to listen to them on the WNXT website. They will also have the Minford game Friday night.

They should also have the South Webster game on Monday and the Notre Dame game on Tuesday.

100.9 FM and 1490AM is carrying Warren game Friday. I think they are streaming it as well.

It is my understanding that Retro 92.1 FM will be airing the SG v. Portsmouth Notre Dame on Tuesday, March 4.

Is there a contingency plan for Sunday's games? There is suppose to be an ice storm in Athens on Sunday! Does the OHSAA have a plan in place? Sure would like to know since I will be coming almost 600 miles to see this!! Thanks in advance...oldtrojan

Bulldog93: Great site!!..........#21 on Portsmouth is Alex Dickerson, not Micah Williams.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Convo.......I know you're disappointed in what happened to your Bulldogs, but remember Athens has more kids coming back than anybody else in D2 next season......they have to be the preseason favorite for the regional in 2014-2015.

I will miss Coach L. and The Piketon Redstreaks this year! I got spoiled over the last seven years.
