West Union is very athletic, but will be short handed vs Valley, even with the ten man rotation.. Look for Dunn to have a big game.

Hard to fathom Valley losing.....I won't be surprised if WU hangs in there pretty well until the 4th.

How long ago was it when Valley was upset by Westfall... About 10 years?

It was About 5 years ago and it wasn't a huge upset, 4-5 matchup or something of that nature. If the Indians come in focused this game will be a 20+ point contest.

No..... It was 10 years ago this year and we were either the 1 or 2 and Westfall was somewhere between 7-10. It was a huge upset. We had lost 3 games in South Carolina and a game to I believe Webster. We were in the 16-4 range.

That's right! My bad! Didn't valley also lose to westfall Blake yates's freshman year in the tourney? That's what I was referring to.

Thanks....remember that Valley team being gigantic and didn't lose a game in Ohio. I was at Valley buying my ticket to watch Whiteoak and the Valley people were in total shock. Pretty sure Valley was the #1

I look for Valley to pull away in the 4 qt with their senior experience and depth on the bench . I see another big night for Dunn and West and hopefully Flowers has another big night in 3pt land Valley 15-20 over West Union

Valley was the 1, Westfall was the 9. Westfall's tallest player (6'3) was also in street clothes and the Mustangs pushed around the much bigger and more talented Indian club that night. WF went on to lose in OT to Ironton in the district finals. It's still the biggest tournament upset that I've ever seen.

That won't happen tonight, WU has a lot of athletes and size, but that won't bother Valley. Valley by 15, but not pulling away until late in the 3rd, early 4th.
