Seth Legraen Fort Frye or Jon Weichman Caldwell

If you look at an all around player I would think it would have to be chandler lang. He is a great defensive player and ff plays through him. Legraen in my opinion is more of just an offensive player

Legraen is not the best player on his team, so how can you have him in the talk of PVC player of the year. You have to go with Lang since they are the champs.

Fort Frye has players who complement each other well, but I don't know that any of them is "player of the year" in the conference.

My vote would go for Weichman. With the turnaround the team has made from last years and him setting multiple school records, it'd be hard for me to pick against that.

After Seth Legraen's performance in the OVAC championship game I would say you have to give it to him. He has led his team to a PVC and OVAC title while Weichman hasn't led Caldwell to anything. Also I could see Fort frye making a long tourney run behind him while I see Caldwell losing in the second round to Malvern.

You don't think that River can upset the redskins. They are now on a two game win streak, thanks to the OVAC.

Seth has been dominating of late scoring 18 per for the season and 8 Rebs. I think the 25 and 17 game at ovac speaks for itself. Plus he has had some nasty dunks.

Legrean has better numbers but he isn't even the best player on his own team, that is lang. Wiechman is the leagues best player, fort is the best team. All deserving players. Was under the impression they don't give a pvc player of the year. Maybe I'm wrong, wouldn't be the first time lol. I do know my son came home from practice last night an told me Wiechman got district player of the year an is playing in the north/south game.
Gottalovette, maybe 15 wins an counting doesn't seem like much to you but unless your zep baseball boys pick it up doah sports won't sniff 15 wins in all boys sports combined this year lol

Don't slam on the Zeps just because the're down......remember they are your county neighbors.

Tough to choose between Wiechman and Legraen - couldn't go wrong either way. I know both and have coached both and you won't find two better young men that WORK VERY HARD every chance that they get to improve their craft. And Chandler Lang is a player that any team would love to have - TOUGHNESS at its finest --- Just not sure he is a POY type of player. Unfortunately, the dirty work players don't often get the credit they deserve with such awards.

Both players would be very deserving of the award. Want to say congrats to Fort Frye on their PVC and OVAC championship, and also to a few Caldwell Redskins. Weichman for becoming the school's all time leader in assists, steals, and points, and being named Division 4 POY (guessing in their district). And to coaches Crane and Lori on winning coach and assistant coach of the year in division 4. Glad to see Caldwell basketball on the upswing.
