Why no Gabby Smith or Steve Martin in the Western HOF induction?

They decided to do it by decade, until they catch up. This first year is the sixties and before. Obviously Gabby and Steve will be in! All of the 1000 point scorers, both boys and girls will be in. I commend Brock for starting something that should have been done a long time ago.

I think it was only fitting that Brock start back where he did. Not a lot of folks even knew that we had a team in 1942 that also was in the State Championship Game. All the legends that you know will most certainly get in. But lets give those who pioneered our sports first their dues. Not only is this going to be basketball hof. It will be all the greats from every sport. Great job Brock! Gonna he a great night. Lets kick some Bearcat butt while were at it.

Great idea!! Give Brock and all who have made this happen for the Indians a pat on the back. What a night for all of the Indian legends and their families, this is how you keep traditions alive. What a shame other schools in our area do not have a HOF.

That makes sense. Good for Western for recognizing the many great athletes they have had over the years.
