1st AP poll has just came out. Zane Trace is 7th in D3 and Peebles is 8th in D4. Logan Elm and Oak Hill are receiving votes.

Zane Trace a first place vote?
ZT should probably be mentioned in the "others receiving votes."
They really have not beat anybody yet. Maybe Unioto, which is OK for the SVC. Unioto will have pull upsets in the D2 District Tournament.

When sportwriters handle the polls and All-Ohio it is a mess.
Look at the All-Ohio for Football. Thousands selected for seven divisions.

I agree 100% with you Regulator! Even though my Falcons are now in D2. Oak Hill was ranked last year with several losses! The ranking system is a JOKE!

That may be your opinion Pol Pot but I think others would differ!
The Falcons go out there every week and play just as hard as these other teams and......WIN!
So, if the voting wasn't so "political" then other really good teams would get noticed!
The ONLY reason that Oak Hill has gotten a "sniff" these last 2 years is because of Norm!

Oak Hill did have a nice run last year and fell 1 game short of the final 4. This year's team is not nearly as strong as last year, but you do get a lot of these votes from your "history". Norm has led the Oaks to some nice tournament runs and a state title. Many of the voters no nothing about this team other than their current record, history, and coach. Minford has not won a game at the Convo for how many years?

Love seeing Peebles ranked . Good school and there coach is a class act in my book. They play in a very tuff league with big schools that will get them ready come tourney time .

Peebles girls are ranked in the top 10 as well. Both boys and girls play make-up games at Lynchburg highschool on Saturday night. Proud to be an Indian fan.
