Very impressed with the Shanks kids ability to get to the rim. Southeastern dominated the paint tonight with tons of second chance points. And they done a good job of taking advantage of Westerns help side defense . Western plays pretty good on ball defense but get hurt bad on help side . But when the coach went to a zone Southeastern got tons of boards. Would like to see Western in a 3-2 but it's still early in the year there rotations may get better. Southeastern has decent size as well and you can't teach size. If Western starts bumping cutters and improves there help side defense they can be trouble cause Shanks is nasty and The Freshman Brewster kid is going to be hard to keep on the bench and not starting he elevates and finishes in the paint well. Keep working Western I watched you earlier in the year verses Green and I think you guys have improved tons. Keep it up!
