West Union has decent size and athleticism that will give Peebles problems but I do not think they have an answer for Beau. Indians by 8.

Peebles is way overlooked this year. I knew this group of kids would be very good, the freshman class is very skilled as well. Look for Peebles and Coach Arey to make a big tournament run in the near future. Justice can play, and doesn't have a ounce of fear in his game, they are also multiple skilled players around him and in the younger levels of the program. As far as this game, I say Peebles by about 12, starting to pull away mid-3rd quarter. West Union is very capable as well, with players I have had the luxury of working with at camps and AAU, Sellars, Hinkle, Sinniger, etc. Coach Harrop has done a great job at WU.

Peebles has got a lot of good pieces coming up in junior high also. They should be great for years to come. Next years group has a chance to be special if some of our players develop how I think they can.

West Union has the athletes to play with Peebles. I just don't think the discipline and structure is there yet for the Dragons to win. WU will play them tight for a half then Peebles pull away in the 2nd half.

Is Hinkle out? If he is that puts West Union at a big disadvantage.

Peebles 77 - West Union 60. Beau Justice with 45 or 47. Scoreboard said 45 but they took off two points from it during the game so I'm not sure which was correct.
All tournament team
North Adams- Hank Sparks
Manchester- Austin Smith
West Union- James Sellars
West Union- Trenton Price
Peebles- Zach Arrasmith
Peebles- Beau Justice (MVP)

Even though it was a 17 pt win in the end, it was a hard fought battle. Several times West union was within 6-7 points, a thunder dunk and one by WU Frankln cuts it to 6, several traded buckets and a ill advised Technical in the heat of the moment hurt West Unions run. But they still battled, but The Justice kid was just way too much. Still shout o both teams a very exciting game

Justice is averaging 32.8ppg to go along with 5.5apg, 5rpg, and 5.4 steals a game this season. He has about as much talent as can be packed in a 5'11"-6' frame. The only thing Beau has going against him from a recruiting standpoint is his size, if he was 6'5" or so he would be on the radar of high major programs.

I am a little surprised with Justice's totals but not the final score. I feel Peebles is the superior team.
Justice is an outstanding player. There is nothing in his game that says he is selfish. Nothing! He is a very good high school basketball player.
