The Portsmouth Trojans 4th leading scorer all time, Kendal Reynolds, will be playing basketball at Rio Grande. Reynolds, who scored 1,341 points in his distinguished career, will be another player under the tutelage of Coach Eugene Collins to play beyond the HS level. All-time leading scorer Kyre Allison is currently playing at Marshall University, Tory Horne played at Lake Erie College, Andrew Bendolph played at Shawnee State, Jayllen Carter is currently playing at Shawnee State, while Sky Oliver went to Rio Grande but is transferring to Marshall next fall.
Congratulations to Kendal on continuing his basketball career at URG.

Great stuff right there trojandave ! Congratulations to Kendall on his decision to attend RG he will be joined in this years class by Matthew Gullett from Minford ... both are good fits for the Rio program ... wishing them both the best !

Sure Rio will love seeing games like when Gullett and Reynolds went off in a period (10 minute running clock) at their scrimmage this year. Gullett hit 5 threes and scored 19 points, and Reynolds hit 4 threes and scored 18 points. Portsmouth won the quarter, and those two put on a show.pfloyd wrote:Great stuff right there trojandave !
