With Wheelersburg beginning league play late and postponing their first 3 league games vs Webster, Minford and Oak Hill the league results have been hard to keep track of.

Hopefully we can piece them together.

Here’s what I think they are. Please post corrections

Oak Hill 3-0. Wins over Waverly, Minford and Valley
West 3-1. Wins over Northwest, Valley and Minford. Lost to Webster
South Webster 2-1. Loss to Waverly. Wins over West and Valley.
Waverly 3-1. Loss to Oak Hill. Wins over Webster, Valley and Northwest.
Wheelersburg 1-0. Win over Northwest.
Valley. 0-4. Losses to Oak Hill, West, Webster and Waverly.
Northwest. 0-4? Losses to West, Burg, Waverly and Minford?
Minford. 1-2? Win over Northwest? Losses to west and Oak Hill.

So.... I think it’s the Following.

Oak Hill. 3-0
Wheelersburg 1-0
Waverly 3–1
West 3-1
South Webster 2-1
Minford 1-2
Northwest 0-4
Valley 0-4.

3 wins trumps 1 win ... so no

You can put them in any order that makes you feel better.

West played well. West was down 2 at the half and had Oak Hill frustrated. Second half they focused on getting Darby the ball and he scored several baskets and they stretched it out. They are really talented, no shame in loosing to them.

Agreed. Absolutely no shame in Losing to Oak Hill. It will probably be done by the other 7 teams in the conference twice each.

The fact that West was only down 2 at the Half says a great deal about them and their definite improvement. It’s very difficult to hold Oak Hill down for a half.

West is the feel good story of the early season.

Northwest is 0-5 but should not be overlooked. Coach Smith and his team have been in 4 of those 5 games in the 4th quarter and things usually even out over the season. I look for them to win possibly 4-5 league games this year. They only have 9 left —- maybe 3-4 is more reasonable but they are not as bad as 0-5 in the league would indicate.
