Who ever comes ready to play will win . Athens need to abort that zone and the way NY pushes the ball they may not be able to setup in it . Good luck to both teams .

I favor Athens because of their depth. Justin Perry out with ankle injury, Keegan Wilburn same. NY is literally 5 deep.
That said T&F is correct - whoever shows up ready to play

Battle of attrition. Athens will be down 4 players too. Lol

Would be nice for Athens to get a W at Marietta on Tuesday before they head into this one on Friday. Definitely need to get some Non-Conference wins under their Belt.

After seeing both, Athens will win by 20+. Athens will get any shot they want. This will be a track meet. The winner will be in the 80's.

Go TVC.

taking anything from the Alexander game, it might be a 15/20 point win for Athens.
Athens does play a good defense after they score. Missed shots just might hurt them getting back on defense.

I'm thinking NY will step up the D. If so, I like NY in a close one. If not.......

I'm still up in the air about this one. I think either team could take this one. It'll help that Athens is on their home court. I think it will be high scoring and a very close game, from what I've seen both teams like to get out and run so I'm really looking forward to this one.

NY gives up 69 ppg, but Athens only scores 48 ppg. Something has to give there. I'm pretty sure that Athens should win, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the Buckeyes pull out the win.

I see Nelsonville taking this one. Nelsonville will be fast enough to break their zone and get past it pretty easily. NY-61 Athens-50

Totally agree with this. Nelsonville has lost two in a row, but will get a big one at Athens

This has the potential to be a very good game.
Bucks are working hard to improve.
Just need consistent play from NY and they could bring it all together.

Like I said before, Athens should win and I'm going to take the Bulldogs by 8. It's a must win for them if they want to stay in the race for the Ohio.

4 players that began the season ...

Dickleman
Albin
Saltzmen
Maxfield

Won't be there Friday night. Williams missed Marietta too, hopefully he is back for NY

Did Dickleman play any games? Why did he quit? Are the others out long?

All the players listed - Athens has equal players to replace them with. As long as Williams, Chub, Hines & Cozart are there they are in good shape.
NY is starting. 5-10 kid at post. That is why I favor Athens. NY will need huge games from there "guns" & no foul problems to pull this one out

I wouldn't be surprised if Chubb or Butcher go for 30
