Thoughts on this?

Depends on how well SW shoots the ball. I think Burg is a bad match up for SW and have the athletes to keep Blevins in check.
I think Burg wins this by 10-15 pts

Agree on the bad match up. Hopefully no bad blood displayed.

I think Wheelersburg wins and maybe by a decent amount....but I bet SW plays their tails off and probably has a chip inserted as well.

If Burg shows up to play like they did against Wellston, they will be tough to beat. Burg is starting to mesh very well together. Hate to miss it in person but I’ll be at work tonight but I’m going to listen on Burgfan or 99.3. I predict Burg by 10.

Wheelersburg shot lights out against Wellston. Wellstons defense was horrible. It looked like a shoot around. I bet Aters shoot around before the game had better defense. Wellstons guards were suspect. Weak ball handling. They also couldn’t shoot very well. Wellston got the ball inside anytime they wanted but just couldn’t finish.
Webster’s guards are better, better shooters. Shiloh comes out aggressive and we decide to play defense Webster can take this one. If they don’t and burg gets another shoot around it could be a long night. I think it will be a good game regardless. Just don’t think Wellston was a good examination for burg. Don’t get me wrong Wellston has potential it just didn’t make the bus ride to burg.

This game still on?

As far as I know it still is. Parking lot is looking fairly clear so I don't see why they would cancel

I don’t look for bad blood tonight. The freshmen for Webster all play JV. The Sophomores and Juniors who make up the Varsity team played with Truitt a little in the summer possibly before he decided to take his talents to Wheelersburg. The coaching staff didn’t come together until October so they didn’t coach him either. It will all be fine.

I hope it’s a good game! Burg has beaten Portsmouth and Wellston since losing by 2 to Waverly. SW hasn’t played since Oak Hill. They prepared for New Boston last week before finding out the game was postponed until February on Saturday morning and then switched gears and prepared for Burg on Saturday —- just as I figure Burg and Coach Ater started preparing for Webster on Saturday.

Game is definitely on —- JV start at 6:00.
