Thoughts on this one ? Without Peck ? Or with him?

Gallia BIG in this one. The OVC is a 2 horse race between Gallia and Fairland and Fairland has a sizeable lead at the moment. But Gallia is clearly second with the remainder of the league eating dust.
Gallia 76
Coal grove 44

Gallia is no way 32 points better than Coal Grove. Losing there best player Peck is even more reason Big Blue 85 prediction isn't even close.... And before I hear Peck wasn't there best player rants let me clarify. Apparently his attitude wasn't there but IMHO he had a lot more talent than loveday. Gallia won't go anywhere in Tournament. There just an average team at best.

CG defensive effort will frustrate Gallipolis. Assuming CG shoots the 3 well this game will be MUCH closer than the home team thinks.

I’m interested in this game. Gallia is a strange matchup for teams and hard to compare teams that play against them.

... I'm trying to read between the lines here - Peck is no longer with the Gallia Academy team ?

Peck is no longer on the team and hasn't been back to school at Gallia Academy! Peck was a good player and could of help this team, but he is not the only player on this team. The Blue Devils have won most of their games without Peck. Loveday is better than people think he is. The Blue Devils have enough good players and other players who can step their game up. The Henry boy was first team all league in tvc last year and average I believe 15 points a game he could step up and be that extra scorer they need and Between Call and McCellan they could score more points. All the guards need to drive the ball to the basket and either score, get the ball to Loveday for easy baskets or throw the ball back out for spot up 3's. I believe the Blue Devils win tonight over Coal Grove 65 to 49.

GA, Portsmouth and Fairland are the only schools in the OVC with freshmen teams.

The big improvement between this years team and last years team is last year this team was dead without Peck. That is not the case this year.
I know nothing about pecks status. But if he has left good luck to him. This team will really need Blain carter to step up and play a bigger role or whoever the big JV kid is I don’t really know. They are both really athletic and can be a presence on the boards.
I would expect this team to begin to extend there defense against teams to speed up play as this team will want to do much more in transition as they won’t be nearly as good in half court without Peck.
Peck was only playing as a shell of a player that he played last year. Good luck tonight Devils
Still see blue devils by at least 15

Gallia’s best “player” was Peck - he was the reason they beat Jackson!
BUT
Coal Grove will struggle mightily with Loveday’s size.
BUT
This game will be a 5 point win or less for Gallia
.... and that’s the TRUTH!
They won by 20.

Not a bad game after a few weeks layoff for the Blue. They do have to work on not turning the ball over especially when being pressed . That being said Loveday had a big game in my opinion wouldn’t be surprised if he had a triple double with points rebounds and blocks. Wiseman had a pretty nice game as well Henry not a bad game but has to limit his turnovers. Blouir as he gets more and more time and experience he will have some good games . Thomas has played well off the bench and doesn’t force anything. Nice to see Carter start to get healthier. Coal Grove plays hard and I agree they will have even a better effort next time. Seemed to be a injury free game. On a side note deadest crowd of all time thank goodness the pep band was there or you could hear people talk.

Long layoffs are hard on any team !
