If Burg plays the way they are capable then they win this one.

That can be said about any team that is still playing. Wheelersburg has to hit outside shots to win this game. If it is a game in the paint and if Lynchburg Clay has a good post player, they will win this game. Wheelersburg doesn't have anyone to defend the post. Dyer does his best but is in foul trouble every game and Holden doesn't want to play in the post. Other than those two, the post defense is pretty non existent. And those two are not shut down post defenders. It could be a very interesting game. Can't wait to see it as well as the other 3 match-ups that day.

Couldn't agree more! This person is simply a "negative nelly" and deserves the boot!

Eric McGlaughlin for LC is as good as this area has. He is around 6’4” and plays inside and outside. I don’t know much about Wheelersburg, but McGlaughlin is worth the price of admission.

If I remember correctly, LC best the Burg on their way to the final 4 a couple of years ago. Looking forward to seeing this one on Saturday.

I've seen both teams and this game will be close.

Burg is more talented top to bottom, but McLaughlin will be the best player on the floor. No, I'm not saying he has a higher ceiling than Holden nor will go D1 like Holden. But as of right now, McLaughlin is the most important player on his team.

Lynchburg seems to be a little more solid and fundamental, they will have a game plan and stick to it. Wheelersburg is more athletic and more talent, but can deviate away from the game plan at times which can hurt them.

I believe Burg guards will be too much to handle in the end, but I'm confident that McLaughlin will score 20+ and keep this game within reach.

Wheelersburg had trouble with Ironton's scrappy defense, and even though the Pirates led throughout the game, had to hold on for dear life at the end. Lynchburg has to bring that same intensity on D, because I think the Burg has more offensive weapons than do the Mustangs. I'm interested to see how Coach Ater plans to guard McLaughlin, and who he has guarding him. I know that Wheelersburg traditionally likes to play man defense. McLaughlin made kill shots vs. Portsmouth, with every time the Trojans rallied, he either hit a 3 or scored in the paint.

I don't think the winner of this game gets to 60 points.

Mclaughlan is a much better outside shooter then Holden. If Holden can go D 1 so can he ,I do agree burg has mote athletes

Only seen him few times this season.. Your welcome to tell me I am wrong following the game.. But I personally felt he was heads above any player I seen in SEO this year

I think if Devin Pierson has a big game LC wins. He comes from a big game family.

Burg stays out of foul trouble they’llbe tough to beat as I believe they are the better team....but this game has fun written all over it. Will be there
