I haven’t heard anything about it or seen any advertisement so I was just wondering if they are having it? I like traveling down to it and watching it.

I agree, weird I haven’t seen any advertising of the classic. I have seen an ironton schedule which lists Dec 21 & 22 as Ironton classic. Playing Chillicothe and Ashland,ky. But I can’t confirm that and know nothing of any other possible matchups.

Also appears Ironton St.joe may play Coal Grove.

I guess no one is talking basketball in I-town this year? I asked several days ago about the Ironton Basketball Classic and it seems no one knows if they are having it this year. Can anyone find out for me sure would appreciate it!

I've attended many Classics and I bet this year has the lowest crowd.

Even from Mr Philyaw's tweet, I can't see the game times.

IRONTON CLASSIC LINEUP: The field is set for the 2018 Ironton Classic basketball showcase, one of a premium high school basketball events in the Tri-State.

Games begin Dec. 21, with an all-boys lineup. Ironton St. Joe takes on Coal Grove to start the day. M.A.C.K. Prep (North Carolina) plays Cincinnati Taft in the second game, followed by Chillicothe vs. Ironton, then Wesley Christian vs. Huntington Prep.

On Dec. 22, Warren plays Ironton in a girls game to begin the day. Cincinnati Taft and Wesley Christian follow with a boys contest. Columbus Africentric takes on Huntington High’s boys in the day’s third game, followed by Huntington Prep vs. M.A.C.K. Prep. The event concludes with Ironton playing Ashland in a boys game.

Surely the Ironton v Ashland will be a big crowd
