I do think Combs will have a great plan for Athens zone. Wouldn’t be shocked if he sped it up with a press of sorts to see if Williams can not only get through it but make a good decision once it is broken. Athens is an interesting matchup to say the least.
All the pressure on Athens to win it

These two teams have historically played close games.

Athens should win, but if Vinton County can speed them up and get them into a full court game, then they’ll have a chance.

A bakers dozen feels like the magic numbers, Athens on the win side. But just one moment Athens fans, most all teams during a season have a team that can be a pain in the butt. VC could be that team to Athens. Key to game is pressure by Athens and force VC turnovers.

Athens should win hands down--but not sold on their coach-seen him wait to long to adjust or call time outs last year against VC. No pressure on VC all on Athens---this game will give us a window on how Athens season will go.

Everyone is saying 12-15, I’ll be the one to say it no team will beat vinton county by more than 10 this year, with maybe the exception of Logan, vinton county has to get out and turn this into a full court game and run the court very small this year compared to last year, but this team is tough and can play defense, held kearns from Alexander scoreless in the 2nd half last week and had a chance to win after being down 16, if Athens leads that can’t slow down or vinton county will be right back in it no quit in this years team

No one from Athens thinks we were going to win by a lot. It's always a close game

Not you but a few people have said it on this thread, Athens VC is always tough, currently listening on radio seems like Athens is getting away with a lot of travels and VC a lot of touch fouls not called
