After watching about 6-7 D4 teams around SE Ohio and also following along with scores, my top 5 SE Ohio D4 teams thus far would be:
1.) South Webster
2.) New Boston
3.) Coal Grove
4.) Fairfield Leesburg
5a.) Whiteoak
5b.) Waterford
Anxious to watch Whiteoak and Waterford play a little stiffer competition so I can get a better feel on them. I think they're both top 10, but still not sure on top 5.
*Outside looking in: Green, St. Joe, South Gallia
* Trimble hasn't played yet due to the deep football run, but I FULLY expect them to be in the top 5.
Top to bottom, I do think D4 is down compared to the past few years. I see a lot of OK teams with potential, but I don't see any dominant teams and that's not been the case the last few years with SE Ohio D4.

After wins this week over Fairfield and tonight over White Oak, I think the young Peebles Indians are becoming relavent. Now tied for first in SHAC small school division. Way to go Indians.

Yes it was. The holiday tournament, then North Adams again ,then New Boston away, then Western Pike away will be some tough games coming up. We will probably take it on the chin some ,but; the youngsters are coming on strong right now.One game at a time to reach tournament time.
