Jackson only shot 46% against Boro but also were 10/23 from 3...and had 15 turnovers and won by 36Between the Lines wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 3:55 pm It looks like Jackson was hot shooting the ball vs. Hillsboro, but can Jackson's shooting do the same vs. WCH and it's pressure D? I was told the Ironmen only shot 40+% of shots at McClain and turned the ball over alot !
My thoughts are WCH by 9. WCH forced Chilli to shoot alot of off balance shots.
More talented maybe, but Jackson won't find another team on their schedule with the athleticism of WCH. So fast in transition, and WCH is still awaiting the return from injury of 6'1 JR Garitt Leisure. He broke his foot during football in his first game back after missing the first four weeks of the season this year. He started nearly every game for WCH last season and will provide some much needed depth. WCH proved Tuesday that their 5 can go the distance if they can stay out of foul trouble, as I believe 3 of the 5 played the entire 32 minutes against chillicothe and the other two played 28-30. I think this will be a great game tomorrow night with an incredible atmosphere, WCH by 4. Can't wait!Poo Bear wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 8:35 pm Jackson more talented and playing at home , I’ll take Jackson by 8
GLeisure started a lot of games last year along with 2-3 other sophomores that weren't ready for varsity ball- this is a completely different team. 5 great, long, quick athletes on the floor in starting 5. They guard hard. If teams in the league or on the schedule think this will be the same team they played last year they are wrong. 2-3 of the guys that started V last year, play JV this year. Coach Scott has them gelling.goblue1395 wrote: Thu Dec 13, 2018 8:55 amMore talented maybe, but Jackson won't find another team on their schedule with the athleticism of WCH. I'm not saying he's an all FAC player by any means but i do believe he'll provide more off of the bench when cleared than our current options.joemama wrote: Thu Dec 13, 2018 9:16 amGLeisure started a lot of games last year along with 2-3 other sophomores that weren't ready for varsity ball- this is a completely different team. 5 great, long, quick athletes on the floor in starting 5. What's the size of Jackson's lineup this year?Ironman92 wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 5:50 pm Coach Scott off to a good start at WCH. They came to Jackson last year and gave the Ironmen all they could handle, but Jackson prevailed....the last half of the season WCH was bad. Struggled mightily. First year coach Scott has them going the right direction.
A bump in the road Friday would be ok with me though
Wallis is 5'7" Caden Donaldson is 6'2" Cooper Donaldson is 6'4" Yates is 5'11" and Davis is 6'5"CoachFlora wrote: Fri Dec 14, 2018 9:12 amWhat's the size of Jackson's lineup this year?Ironman92 wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 5:50 pm Coach Scott off to a good start at WCH. I think Cooper is closer to 5’15 than 6’4....Hammond about 6’2 1/223tdb wrote: Fri Dec 14, 2018 10:22 amWallis is 5'7" Caden Donaldson is 6'2" Cooper Donaldson is 6'4" Yates is 5'11" and Davis is 6'5"CoachFlora wrote: Fri Dec 14, 2018 9:12 amWhat's the size of Jackson's lineup this year?Ironman92 wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 5:50 pm Coach Scott off to a good start at WCH.
