I've ALWAYS hated the games during the holidays as teams get out of their routines ... Logan will at least have played on Saturday this past weekend ... never easy getting back into THE GAME with a long layoff - especially in a BIG game ... looking forward to seeing this one !!! going to be fun to do the game rundown following Friday night's showdown of #1 vs #3 on the Elite 8 rankings !

I would pick Logan to win, probably because they are a better all around team, plus they are at home. I would be surprised if they won by that large of a margin though. Of course I have been wrong before. Lol

Logan by many. Too many people on the Loveday bandwagon this year expecting a great year. They'll do good if they make it to district finals and that's a stretch in itself.

This should be a good one. My wife and I are planning on making the drive to Pfloyds lair to take in this contest.

Haven’t been impressed with Gallia so far in the season for them to be so high in the rankings. Still early so we shall see.

Logan has been beaten 2x by teams Above the Lancaster-Dixon Line - Gahanna & Hilliard Davidson , both times not having played their best games (Gahanna shot 56% from the floor vs Chiefs ... vs HD size (6-7,6-7, 6-5 starters) beat the Chiefs on the boards (50 to 22? something like that) while Logan shot only 26% from the floor vs HD ... Logan has to continue to beat teams in the SE district to keep the #1 ranking ... Gallia lost by 2 to Africentric and by 2 @ Ironton ... Africentric with speed/athleticism ... Ironton playing a physical brand of hoops & with quickness ... amazing to read the "GAHS is way to high in the rankings" posts ... Looking forward to see where Loveday stands with his game vs a physical defensive minded Chiefs TEAM ... also want to see the supporting cast for GAHS ... will see for myself where the Blue Devils stand vs the other quality teams I've SEEN in the SE district ...

This should be a close game, but I give Logan the advantage in this one playing at home and have more games under their belt. The two week layoff will hurt GAHS especially coming off a disappointing lost at Ironton where the officiating was terrible. Neither one of these teams is as good as they will be. I think GAHS is good enough to win this game, but it depends on how well they can start this game.They can’t fall behind big early and expect to win like they did against Africentric.

Is the Gallia Academy roster posted out there somewhere ? if not could someone post the #'s and players names at least please ... marking the starters would be great too while you're at it ...
