Your teams 6th man
Please give a little insight on your teams 6th man-that all important player you can trust to come in and relieve a starter or fill in when a starter is out of action. For Athens it is Braiden Markins. A spark plug type player that brings a great energy to the floor. From what I see Braiden gives 150 percent on every play. Great defense and hustle and not afraid to shoot the 3 or attack the rim. Sometimes his emotions get the best of him but it is because he is 150 percent vested. I will take a player like that every day. Would like some insight on some other players in the area that are valuable 6th men.

I’ll play. Jackson it’s 6’3 sophomore Braxton Hammond. Big time defensive player and never changes his intensity. Always going at it and a big asset to the Ironmen team. They don’t miss a beat when he’s on the court.

Thanks Ironman. I figured with not many games going on with winter break and all and folks off work that there would be more discussion on this. But what do I know.

From the couple games that I have been able to see, Noah Donley for Oak Hill seems to be playing pretty well, especially after missing 99% of last year with a back injury.

Parker Clemmons a 6th man for Eastern Pike has been a key part to there success of late,he knows and understands his role,(defends, hustles, rebounds)with not alot of depth,he has given them a huge spark off bench.

Thanks for the input. I was hoping for more input on this. But as they have said there are a ton of readers on here but few posters. Figured this was an easy subject for people to share knowledge. But what do I know.
