Trimble Ranked 10th in the state.....................thoughts

Saw them play. Nor even a top 25 team. But they are scrappy and well coached

Congrats to Howie and Trimble, I think they deserve alot of credit for what they have done this year. People like to make snide remarks on the program but Howie gets the most outta what he has and no one else comes close year after year.

Maybe no one in your league does, but others do

They’re not top-10 caliber; there’s at least five teams in the Athens Regional alone who are better. But, they’re definitely a team worthy of recognition in the statewide poll.

They are all in that east district. That district is brutal for D4

Good for Trimble ! Whether they deserve it or not, that's neither here or there. SEO is usually not given credit even when a school is deserving of a high ranking. They are certainly not the first school, regardless of the Div to be given mayby a higher ranking than deserved.

Are they really ranked the 10th best? Probley not but Trimble's sports program has a lot of respect from ohsaa and the writers and one of the best coaches with that come your state rankings like it or not their is politics in high school sports.I think this year Howie is a no brainer for coach of the year.Everybody thought 500 season would be respectful but sitting at 16-3 those young men have played their butts off and bought into Howie and that's what it takes,10 players that listen not 1 or 2 super stars

Not all in the East District.

I’d say FC, Berne Union and New Boston would have better arguments, but indeed there is Hiland, Rosecrans, Strasburg and Toronto.

Still an impressive season for Trimble, thus far.

Hiland is nasty they are going to go far.

Agree with this sentiment. In SEO we should be happy for our neighbors when they garner representation!

Howie should be coach of the year state wide best coaching ever good luck in the post season tomcats

Howie should at least be nominated and highly considered for the Coach of the year. One of his finest coaching jobs this year.
