Ironton abused Oak Hill in one of the biggest beat downs of Norm Persin’s career. Stellar Ironton floor general Ethan Wilson had a rare off night but the swarming Fighting Tiger defense and deep bench picked him up and proved to be much more than Oak Hill could handle.

I’ll take Ironton over Adena 54-42.

Adena will have to really step up their game if they want to beat Ironton, which handled Portsmouth rather easily during the regular season.

Adena better be prepared to play against a swarming defense for 4 Qtr. Irontons coach is not afraid to rest his starters throughout the game, regardless of the score. This time of the year is when you hope that you are playing your best, I think Ironton is playing with a lot of confidence right now.

Adena can’t turn it over against the press and must be able to hit the 3 when Ironton doubles. If they can then it will be close. I don’t think they can. Give me the Tigers 62-44.

This game is simply a matter of the Waverly sectional being full of average teams and Jackson being loaded. Peake/burg/eastern/Ironton/oak hill/Meigs (played burg very tough) all would have dominated that sectional

If Adena is fully healthy, I like their chances in this one. I’m not sure that they will be though and that could make things very difficult.

Ironton had an easy road in the Waverly sectionals. Jackson's sectionals were much tougher. IMO. But Ironton is playing pretty good ball right now but would have loved to seen a Burg / Ironton matchup in Jackson

I’m not counting Adena out...but Ironton looked great at Jackson

Adena's the #1 seed for a reason BUT, the Fighting Tigers have a chance in this one if they keep playing like they have the last few games.

Anyone have a roster for Adena?

I cant see this one being close. Based on one game I have seen from Ironton, theyre extremely quick, and they have very good ball pressure.
I see that being problematic with the remainder of the teams left in district.
