South Webster Star Blevins to Rio next season

says mr blevins didnt start playing basketball until 6th grade. Excited to see how he shapes up with collegiate training and conditioning over the summer.

Congrats Shiloah Blevins! Enjoyed watching you at South Webster, looking forward to seeing you play at Rio Grande.

Congrats to Shiloah. One of the most entertaining players to watch in southeastern Ohio I can recall. Rio had a cool highlight video on their twitter account where they dubbed Blevins the "Jeep Freak." If he hits the weights and keeps developing, he'll have a great career at Rio.
swanker: goes to show that nobody really knows know how young kids will develop. See way too many youth basketball programs in area basically "cutting" kids in 5th-6th grade basketball so they can focus solely on their 8-man all star team. That's crazy given how most programs in area are struggling to find enough players to field both jv and varsity teams. Let them all play and see how they develop over time. If they don't develop, plenty of time to cut them in junior high/high school.*

agreed. The LeBron Chase down blocks were the best part.
