Got Eastern first on Friday. Can't sleep on them

Unless they have improved a lot since I saw them play, they cannot play with the Burg well enough to win. Cochenhour maybe, everyone else ?

I should have said Pike Eastern cannot play with the Burg, the two games that I have seen them play, they had a lot of unforced turnovers both games.

Seriously though, very good win by the Tigers. Ironton is going to be one of the favorites by tournament time. Rounding it all together very well.

Ironton is playing some good ball right now , this game didn't surprise me at all

Ironton’s best attribute is playing in the ridiculously tough OVC. Lots of good teams and even the “bottom” teams compete. Every OVC team is going to be dangerous come tournament time because they’ve all been tested.

Congratulations on the win tonight Tigers. You played a better game than we did and it showed on the scoreboard. It may only be 2 losses for us on the season, but it was very similar to the Waverly game.

A lot of tough teams in our Sectional and District this year.

Nice win for my Tigers ! Reminded me of football season.

Congrats to the Ironton Tigers on there win over the Wheelersburg Pirates. Wasn't confident that you could do it at the Burg. you sure proved me wrong.

A little surprised at the lack of comments about this game. I know everyone was not at the Beasts of the Southeast. Was it just a back and forth game, a great defensive game or what ? It's very rare that any team can hold the Burg to 47 pts, especially on there home floor.

Ironton and Burg aren’t powerhouses this year maybe why.
