Thoughts on who wins? South Point seems to have been some Kryptonite for Coach Speed and his staff over the years. Any chance the Pointers can pull another upset?

Having watched South Point beat my Trojans twice, in OT and by a buzzer beater by Chance Gunther, I think that the Pointers chance of winning has much to do with their ballhandling. SP has multiple players that are capable of a big night offensively, but at times their ballhandling gets a little shaky. To beat Fairland, SP will have to limit their turnovers. In both games against Portsmouth, SP led by 14 points at one point, only to have the Trojans come back. PHS forced some turnovers that fueled their comeback.

South Point has talent, no doubt, and they can beat Fairland, but they will have to take care of the ball better. Of course they will have to defend better than they have all year. Fairland's methodical style gradually expands the lead. One thing is for sure, the Dragons will not beat themselves.

SP won the game @ South Point last season. When was the last time that South Point beat Fairland before that?

I don’t think Fairland has lost a ovc game in a couple years except south point last year. And last home loss was a few years ago as well. I watched the replay of last nights game it looked like Fairland struggled and coal grove should of left with a win but could of should of Or coal grove played well I don’t know much about them. But Fairland won. If Fairland plays like that south point will keep it close.

Fairland should be out for revenge with the only OVC loss in 5 years at south point last year. I’ll take Dragons by 12 58-46

35-20 dragons at half. Should be a good second one.

South Point has a nice club . 2 excellent players . They battled tonight. Enjoyed their energy.

Wow. South Point came back in this one second half. Congrats to both on a good game.

South Point is going to come in as a 10-14 seed in the D3 tournament and could legitimately knock off any of the top seeds. I've said it all year -- they're the most dangerous team in D3. Two stud players and athletes around them. They play a little out of control and don't always make smart decisions with the basketball, but based off talent it would not surprise me to see them reach the Convo as a double digit seed.

A little surprised just because Fairland is so disciplined

Nice comeback by Soutn Point but fell short to a very good Fairland team. I agree point will be dangerous come tourney time. hope no one looks past them
