Back to Steubenville vs Fort Frye.....
Another big post player vs the Cadets. Calvin Bickerstaff 6'5", and seems to be their leading scorer in most games.
Seems like everyone has bigger players than the Cadets. But the Fort seems to rise to the occasion with good defense, and
young men sharing the ball on offense.
This will be Senior night at The Fort.

Not saying this won’t be close.
Just saying that Steubenville has played a couple good teams tough, but have been not good against lesser competition.
No good wins really. Not a super talented team. Bickerstaff is their best player and might give FF problems but this isn’t a very good team for their size.

I obviously don’t know a ton about their schedule, but Hamilton Township is a BAD loss. Like, really bad.

Maybe even Minerva loss to, there 6-13 and that game was at Steubenville

Young, dangerous team. They’re like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get ![😊](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f60a.svg)

Considering they beat Martins Ferry a team Fort will probably play in sectionals by 19 I think this will be a tough game. Steubenville has been very inconsistent. They’ve played a tougher schedule. I could see Fort losing this one. Fort has to play better then they did the first 2 quarters Tuesday or they’ll lose by 30. The big Reds don’t play us often so I think will get some easy layups.
Go Cadets.
Go Cadets.

FF struggled with Frontier who had just been blasted by both Shenandoah and Shadyside.
With Hart out, they seem to be trending the wrong way, that’s why I agree this could be a close game.

I think they will step up there game, playing a bigger division school, sometimes teams raise there game, alot times I have seen it's a mental thing when your playing a lesser team, take nothing away from Frontier, this is probably one of there better teams, but maybe in the past seasons Fort has handle Frontier with ease, hopefully you will see Fort raise there game this Friday against Big Red

Fort Frye beat South with Nic and lost by 50 without him. He was on a tear in dec scoring 30 or more 4 times. Without him they are different team still a good team. Wallace and Schilling have stepped up. They are way better in an uptempo game. They need to press because it seems to really get them going.PVCGuru wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2020 9:12 am FF struggled with Frontier who had just been blasted by both Shenandoah and Shadyside.
