Awesome. A team hitting 17 in a game is crazy, unreal one player did it.

As for JT Hoyng, that kid had parking lot range. He would let it go from right across half court and nobody even thought of questioning it*

My first year of teaching was at Indian Hill in Cincinnati and I worked with their old coach (who lost in the Finals to Sparta Highland Hoyng’s senior year) and he was still amazed by how great of a shooter he was, even 18 years later lol

Im surprised that Jon Diebler didn’t break the record when he was in school.

Looks like the Trent kid did it tonight in only 3 quarters with 54 points. His team was up 90-33 at that point.

My last year coaching The Girls at South Webster we set a then State Record for 3s In a game with 17 vs Wheelersburg.

We only took 29. Van Deusen had 9 and that was a ton. I can’t imagine if she made 17 by herself.

It’s been shattered and still going. Engle had 329. After tonight Zach Rasile of McDonald (near Youngstown), unofficially has 455 three pointers (and over 2800 points).
