Should be a great game. Symmes has a slight advantage in the post but South Webster has a bigger advantage in guard play. Webster is peaking at the right time and know they can win this game considering they've already beat Symmes once this year.

South Webster 57
Symmes 50

Tough 1st round matchup but taking my Vikings this time around. The Leith bros going to dominate the paint.

Should be a great ballgame. I think the team that can stay focused and play the least mistake free game can come away with the win.

It’s tournament time.

Therefore there is only 1 answer here.

Sorry Mattash. Going with The Fighting Swanker Pines.

63-52

Symmes Valley is 2-3 (lost the last 3) in February while The Jeeps are 4-1. I think South Webster is playing some good ball at the right time while The Vikings seem to be sliding. I’ll take The Jeeps by 8.

Vikings had a tough stretch.

They did beat south point and two OT games on the road v St joe and Greenup Counry.

Vikings will be ready.

Lol...swanker pine getting quite the cult following on here. No joke, I had a guy in real life conversation the other day ask me “did you see what Swanker posted the other night?!?” Swanker was still beating the drum for Webster even at 4-11.

As for this game, I think it’ll be close either way. Both teams have shown they are capable of playing with any D4 team around here.*

never give up.

Swank has watched 59 games so far this year. I’ve watched a lot of games in the past 15 years.

I know graduating Blevins and Ruth and Holstein last year was tough but I knew the kids coming back could still ball it up. I mean the potential is there and I’m sure everyone has seen it. Took a minute for Corriell to get his step back and I really think he’s one of the best PG in the league If Webster plays at this level from the get go I think we only lose to Burg twice and Waverly once and Fairland. Probably Oak Hill at OH because that’s the toughest gym to play in.

But I think we’re 17-5 or 16-6 if we play like we should have all season. TEAM BALL. Not jacking goofy shots or giving up on D the past ten games.

A big key for this game will be how well SW keeps the Leith brothers off the glass. Those two are relentless rebounders that never give up on the ball. Swank, you may want to go in to practice this week and let the boys box you out so they will be ready for the game. 🤣🤣🤣

SV scored 81 points last night and lost, let that sink in. They gave up 85 points in a high school game. Tourney play is about defense, rebounding the ball, and maximizing every offensive possession. SV was up 16 to begin the fourth quarter and continued to take ill-advised shots late in the game. If they aren’t any more disciplined against Webster, they will get beat handily.

I think we approach this game the same as we did Oak Hill. Double and beat up the big man and if someone else wants to shoot the three for SV, let em. Webster averages around 8 treys a game. We’re gonna get ours regardless.
