What are your thoughts?

Peebles seems legit this year. Caden Miller is definitely one of the best players in the district, but I don’t think the Ceramics have the depth and balance that Peebles appears to bring to the table. And while Crooksville played a very respectable schedule to say the least, I think the strength of schedule factor loses its relevance since the SHAC looks to be very tough this year itself. That, and Peebles has been around the block before and is one of the few consistently strong D4 programs in this part of the state.

I’m planning to take this one in, to support “Big C” in this game and later St Joe in the next game. The tentative prediction is a four point margin at half, with Peebles pulling away with a ten point victory “for a return to the Convo!!!”

Crooksville wille bring it as they have played a lot tougher schedule. They have been in games and have beat state ranked D2 teams. They have the best player in Caden Miller in all Southeasten Ohio D4. They also have some very good guards that will control the game. Cville nation will show up.

Hey, I definitely hope to see the Ceramics in the district final. Love the hustle I seen outta Sparks in our game against Big C earlier this year. Need strong production between the two White boys and Cavinee needs a good game as well. Said it earlier this year and I’ll say it again: glad to see Caden Miller able to play his senior year. One of the best MVL athletes I’ve seen in a while and I’m proud of him coming back from that horrific injury he suffered in football last year. MVL was a beast this year top-to-bottom and their non conference was tough. Still have to think Peebles is a favorite based on their reputation, quality of coaching and their own merits this season. But, Crooksville is well-coached this year and capable of spoiling the Convo picture this week.

I believe this will be a competitive game early. Peebles size will give Crooksville trouble and the relentless ball pressure will wear them down! Peebles should be able to control the boards and get the ball out in transition! Peebles wins by 15
