I saw that there is basketball assistant job open at Ironton. Who quit. I've also heard that Coach Fitch isn't happy with his current staff. Does anyone know the problem.

Ironton had a pretty solid season last year considering the late start due to football team's playoff run, so would be surprised to hear of Fitch being unhappy with staff.*

Don’t know the situation there, but many coaches have a hard time putting staffs together. Not everyone wants to coach in today’s world.

Heard it was Hacker. Maybe Fitch will get to pick his assistants like Pendleton did?

Hacker was a cry baby anyways. If he didn’t get his way he pouted about things.

I doubt that's the truth about Hacker. I'd say the McKnights are the problem just based on what I have heard. Mayes no difference to me but that's what I've heard from people that are supposedly in the know. Ironton will struggle this year with Carrico gone. When your best player was a football player your in trouble anyway

bobevans, your description of the mcknights is right on. But hacker is a cry baby and from what I’m told he is off the basketball staff.

You can't have a successful team unless your staff has each other's back. There's no room for back stabbing
