Minford traveling to the jungle on Tuesday following their home loss to South Webster on Friday. Waverly handled Miami Trace in their home opener Saturday night.
What’s the thoughts on this one?

Waverly by as many as they want. Robertson goes for 30.

These two teams always seem to play each other close every year.
With that said, Waverly is the superior team and I think they'll win by 12-15 range. Robertson takes over late to secure the win.

Falcons should hang around until halftime. Tigers will pull away in the second half with their superior talent.

With fans at home Waverly by 20, I think it will be a little closer but Tigers still get the W. I look for the Tigers to be 5-0 heading into Holiday Classic, then 7-0 going into the matchup with Wheelersburg.

6-0 heading into the Classic?
They are 3-0 right now with Minford tomorrow night, at Oak Hill Friday and at Eastern next Tuesday.

This game should be interesting. Here's what I find odd and somewhat fascinating.
Last year against league opponents Waverly had better results on the road vs at home. Won at Wheelersburg lost at home. Won handily at Valley and South Webster. Both nail bitters at home (victories) that could have went either way. Valley game went in to OT I believe. Webster had a nice lead late. We (Waverly) played "really well" at Minford and Oak Hill. Not certain how those games went at home. Maybe someone can fill us in.
Teams show up at Waverly and shoot lights out! Is it the floor, the rims, the background....I don't know. But they sure shoot well.
Minford is athletic, has good size and is a very solid basketball team. This should a good game. Waverly will need to play their best game so far. Go Tigers!!

I remember both of those games now. Thanks! Any thoughts on why we performed better on the road last year?

Webster has always played good at Waverly as long as I can remember but usually we’d shoot ourselves in the foot late in the game (last year). Even if we had a trash team the three ball gods would smile down on us. My favorite place to watch ball in the SOC for sure

Waverly games scheduled before the 23rd are postponed.
Came in contact with a player from another team who tested positive.
Waverly won’t be able to practice or anything.
