This has all the makings of a great one.

I’m not sure it does. Piketon has been great much of the year. Great coach, some really good players. I could see Piketon being super ornery and this game being a nail biter...but Eastern’s done so much to earn the favorite in this bout. I could also see Eastrn flexing their muscles.

I’ll motivate Piketon and jinx Eastern with:

Eastern Brown 57
Piketon 39

I know nothing about eastern brown but if this turns into a 3 point shooting contest I like Piketon by 4

Eastern by 15+

Piketon is tough. It will not be an easy game for either team. But i will disagree with one thing. You do NOT want to get in a 3 shooting contest with Eastern Brown. They had 11 threes Friday, and they have six players that can and frequently hit the 3. I would honestly put EB's Luke Garrett as the best shooter in the district, and top 5 in the State.

True, EB can hit three.

Piketon has to take care of the basketball and finish around the rim. The Warriors are the real deal, but in 32 minutes, anything can happen!

Piketon has 2 closing in on 50 for the season and a couple more that will hurt you if left open. Piketon by 4

Physical game between two very good teams.

I believe Eastern Brown scheduled up this season for moments like this.

I'll take the Warriors by around 15 before it's all said and done.

Don't know much about Piketon but I do know EB has 5 starters that can shoot the 3. I will take EB by 12.

Streaks will hang around for a long while....but eventually fall 54-47.

I think Piketon’s length and ability to guard the perimeter will give them an excellent shot. Going to be tough to win at Eastern, but I like the Streaks IF they can keep it close through 3.

Piketon hasn’t showed the ability to beat good teams this year. On the road against a good one loss team. Sorry no svc love here. Eastern Brown wins this one 58-49.

Piketon has to take good shots within the flow of the offense. No rushing shots, no taking shots just because, must be able to finish at the rim.

Those two teams you mention are good teams. A list of Piketons best teams they faced this year are probably those two you mentioned, Adena, Unioto, and Fairland. Their record against those top teams are 2-5. So I would say it is a fair statement that they haven’t shown they can defeat teams that are good to very good competition consistently this season.
