Big game! Unioto has progressed nicely this season and the young guys getting experience under their belts has Unioto peaking at THE perfect time. Can Team U upset DeSales?

Games are played at 5:30 and 8:00 or 8:30

Big challenge. DeSales comes in at 16-7, but has played a monster schedule. They do have a loss to Bloom Carroll, so there’s a shot.

Desmond Watson (Davidson commit) is obviously a monster on the wing. The 6’5 senior can do a bit of everything, scoring nearly 25 ppg. They have several other nice pieces as well.

Tough chore for Unioto but hey that is why the games are played.

I think Unioto can win this game.

One thing we know about Coach Hoops and Coach Bruce is that they will spend HOURS watching film on teams with a massive one man threat and will do their homework on how to slow them down. Looking at the SVC over the last decade, conference POY have run into a nightmare playing Unioto. Gragg couldn’t score. Mowery couldn’t score. Thomas couldn’t score. Swingle couldn’t score. Unioto will find a way to make your best player come down to earth. (Just ask 2015 Athens, 2015 Warren, 2013 Warren).

Unioto has the athletes to slow down Desales, but they’re young. This is a HUGE ask for them. If Unioto can run Desales off the 3 point line like they did LE and keep the wings out of the paint - they can make this a game.

Final score: 52-45 (not picking a winner)

We will have D2 Regional Finals set by 9:45.
