Another week and most local teams will be turning their focus to a little round ball. What are your alls thoughts on the race for the Ohio division?
Alexander - Returns one of the best in the area in D’agustino. Added some size with a kid coming from NY back to Alex.
Athens - Returns the big Welsh kid who is solid, but will be relying on guys from a solid JV to step up into bigger roles this year.
Meigs - Possible favorite with what they return including a conference player of the year candidate in Cleland. Had a couple younger players contributing that will be older and more experienced as well.
NY - Returns a solid PG in Drew Carter and a big who was solid as a sophomore and a couple other young pieces on the perimeter.
RV - Will have a big task on their hands to make up for the loss of Jordan Lambert who graduated last year.
VC - Probable favorite with meigs, with returning many pieces including shooter Braylon Damron, PG Eli Radabaugh, and big Asa Davidson. Not to mention being led by Combs who always has VC at the top or in the mix.
Wellston - Had a better year last year than the previous couple based on record. Return some key pieces in Cyan Ervin and Evan Brown, but they lose their big athletic post in the middle in Hunter Smith.
Should be a great season with some very exciting games.
